Entreacte (Inter-Omnia-Glypha) OCR Technology
Entreacte is an OCR and Computer Vision research project built around a single insight: the void between characters carries as much information as the characters themselves.
The Inter-Omnia-Glypha engine applies reversed binarization — treating background as signal — to extract skeletal representations, cellular automata entropy fields, and graph-based glyph relationships from document images.
The result is a pipeline that operates on interval objects that are robust to downsampling, produces steganographic metadata, and integrates natively with AI/LLM stacks. Designed to read from downsampled images — potentially ~4× fewer pixels (½ resolution per axis); benchmark in progress.
